Visitor Information & Community Support

Loyalty card for customers

We will offer you a Loyalty Card as you enter the market or you can ask us for one. Get it stamped or initialled by the stallholder each time you make a purchase at their stall. Multi-purchases from one stall will mean you get more than one box filled out.

When you've filled it up, drop it off with us to go into the quarterly prize draw. You could win vouchers for either £30 or £20 to spend at the market. Fill out the section with your email address to receive our monthly newsletter telling you what's going on.

Help the environment

Buy one of our hessian bags and an eco cup when you come to the market. Buy them together for £10 - saving you £2 to spend elsewhere in the market!
Any profits go to support our local charitable causes.

Our Community Support

We don't hold the farmers' market to make a profit so once a year we decide who to donate our current surplus income to. We have decided on donations to the following local groups and charities for 2024:

Guildford Fridge fresh vegetable deliveries provided by T & V the fresh vegetable stall at our market
Ripley Parish Council to keep the village toilets clean and open
Ripley Parish Council Christmas lights for the village
Ripley village Church flowers
Ripley Cricket Club
Ripley Pantomime
The Over 60s village club
Toddler Group rent
A memorial tree for Mindi McLean - one of our volunteers

We now have our own community stall gazebo which can be used free of charge by local charities & organisations to promote their own cause. Get in touch if you would like to use it.

FANCY BEING OUR MYSTERY SHOPPER?
Each market one of our regular market visitors chooses a stall as our mystery shopper. Criteria is good service, friendly faces, well laid-out produce including visible pricing. We know from experience the best stalls are those enthusiastic stall-holders with a passion for their product. The lucky stall-holder winner then receives a certificate and a free pitch at the next market.
